No road transgressions, or accidents reported | News Article

Bloemfontein - The Free State Department of Police, Roads and Transport says they are pleased that motorists making their way to the "It's Time" prayer gathering on a farm just outside Bloemfontein have not transgressed on traffic laws.

The Department’s spokesperson,  Kabelo Moloabi, says thus far they have not made any arrests, nor have there been any reports of accidents.

Moloabi says although traffic flow has subsided on entrance routes to the Free State, there is still high traffic flow in Bloemfontein. He appeals to motorists to continue abiding by the law.

“They have behaved very well from the morning, even yesterday we never had anything. Vehicles were stopped checked, most of those were 100 percent roadworthy.” Moloabi says this indicates that people do take road safety seriously.
