Grabouw - Three men who were recently arrested for a farm attack in Grabouw were allegedly involved in a similar crime in the province last month. Western Cape police spokesperson Andre Traut says the men stand accused of shooting and seriously injuring Shirleen Booysen, on her farm, Blaauwkrans, on Monday. They then allegedly fled the scene with three cellphones and a gun. The men were arrested yesterday. The men are due to appear in the Grabouw Magistrate's Court on Monday. In another incident, police arrested a 28-year-old man earlier this week in connection with a recent attack on a Malmesbury farm, in which a farmer and his fiancé were assaulted with a pipe and an axe. He was formally charged with house robbery, rape and attempted murder.
