In his first Instagram post since December 2019, Ed Sheeran has shared the news that his daughter was born last week – her name - Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran.
Once again as celebrities appear to be doing these days, the couple chose to not post a picture of baby Lyra, instead, it features a tiny pair of baby socks on a knitted blanket with a caption that says Cherry has given birth to a "beautiful and healthy daughter - Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran".
The ecstatic new parent continued to share his excitement saying: "We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here."
Sheeran and Seaborn were childhood friends at school in Suffolk, they met up again as adults, sparks flew, an engagement followed in 2018 and an intimate wedding with just 40 guests in 2019.
