#Covid19 #Vaccine: Government recommends teens be accompanied by an adult─── 05:48 Wed, 20 Oct 2021
The Department of Health recommends teenagers be accompanied by their parents or guardian to receive their Covid-19 vaccine.
From 20 October, all children 12 years and older are eligible for a single dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
There was an outcry when it was announced that 12-to-17-year-olds can get the jab without their parent’s consent.
Authorities want to have over 3 million children vaccinated by January.
