‘Udderly ridiculous’: Firefighters 're-moove' cow from tree─── 12:04 Tue, 11 Oct 2022
A cow, from Chilbolton Hampshire in the United Kingdom, had to be rescued by the fire department when it got its head stuck in a tree.
According to an article from Sky News, the fire services were called, along with an animal rescue adviser, to save a cow that was stuck in a tree.
It was said that it is a common occurrence in Hampshire for animals’ heads to get stuck in trees.
Amar Mehta (news reporter) said that a crew from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue made a joke saying that the incident was “udderly ridiculous”, after spending over one hour trying to free the cow.

The fire services’ animal rescue and tactical adviser, Mark Compton, said: “The animal crew from Winchester worked tirelessly to release the cow by making the hole bigger and manipulating the animal’s head until it was freed from the tree.”
The fire service shared two photos of the animal, the rear as well as the front views of the trapped cow.
Mehta also said that in one picture the cow looked a little bit “mooo-dy” due to the unfortunate predicament.
The good news, however, is that the animal was set free.
