Binder has sights on consistent 2021 MotoGP season─── MORGAN PIEK 14:00 Mon, 22 Feb 2021
With a little more than a month to go before the 2021 MotoGP gets underway with the season-opening Grand Prix of Qatar, the excitement is mounting in the Brad Binder game.
The MotoGP rookie of the year for 2020 from South Africa, Binder, will be targeting a stronger showing now that his first season is done and dusted.
From the onset, Binder indicated that his debut season was all about learning as opposed to podium finishes.
While Potchefstroom-born Red Bull KTM rider won in Brno last season, he believes that they can do better.
“There were so many days when we had the potential to do so much more.
“I made a lot of mistakes and ended up throwing away a lot of golden opportunities.
“In general, that was a bit frustrating and that is the one thing that I want to fix this season.
“If I can do that, we have the speed and we have the pace and I know I can do a good job.”
The riders will officially start testing in Jerez on 2 March, before moving over to Qatar for the season-opener on 28 March.
