The 3rd round of the Motocross SA National Championship will be taking played at the Tempe track in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
Riders from across the country will converge on the track that is highly regarded in South Africa.
The national championship will see riders competing from the 50cc class all the way through to the MX3 class.
The local rider, Johan Vogelesang, who is 7th in the MX1 class told OFM Sport that they want to use championship point on their home track.
“It's always a highlight of our season to have a motocross national on our home track for riders in the Free State area.
“I must say that our track is a favourite of riders from all across the country.
“I do however hope to use my home town experience to my advantage and move up in the championship points.
“I'm very excited to have the best riders in the country come out and compete on our track.”
The former national champion from Bloemfontein, Tyson Engelbrecht, will also be in action tomorrow in the MX3 class. He is currently third in the national standings.
