Men’s and women’s elite class will no doubt provide for a thrilling race with some of the country’s top mountain bike riders battling it out for national honours.

In the men’s elite, Phillip Buys, Arno du Toit and Matthew Beers have all been confirmed in the field.

Last year Buys won the SA XCO Cup in Bloemfontein while Beers was the runner-up.

In the women’s Elite, Candice Lill, Mariske Strauss and Lehane Oosthuizen, will all be in action.

Lill and Strauss were the runners-up at this years’ Cape Epic.

The action gets underway at 9:00 on Saturday morning.
