Breast cancer affects thousands of South African families each year – but together, we can raise awareness, offer hope, and make a real difference. OFM’s mission is bold: to raise R500 000 for CANSA.

Adding some fun to fundraising, OFM and Round Table Southern Africa will host the Bowling4Boobies corporate bowls series across Central South Africa. Each evening promises eats, treats, prizes and entertainment, with live performances by Rudo Schwim. 

The series starts in Bloemfontein on 2 October, followed by Vereeniging on 9 October, Welkom on 16 October, Hartswater on 23 October, and Klerksdorp on 30 October. Listeners can enter their team of four for just R2,000, with all proceeds going directly to CANSA.

Listeners can further help by tuning in every Thursday as OFM’s daytime shows shine a spotlight on stories of courage, share life-saving information, and celebrate survivors. They can also take the Pink Pledge. 

It’s quick and simple – all they need to do is send “pinkpledge” via Telegram to 084 222 9497 and follow the steps to donate. And finally, listeners can wear pink on Thursdays and flood their social feeds with support tagging #OFMPinkTober.

OFM Bowling4Boobies ondersteun KANSA

Hierdie Oktober sal Sentraal-Suid-Afrika weer eens pienk verkleur terwyl OFM kragte saamsnoer met die Kankervereniging van Suid-Afrika (KANSA) met PinkTober 2025. Borskanker raak duisende Suid-Afrikaanse gesinne elke jaar – maar saam kan ons bewustheid verhoog, hoop bied en ’n werklike verskil maak.

OFM se missie is sterk: om R500 000 vir KANSA in te samel. Elke skenking help om sorg, navorsing en noodsaaklike ondersteuning vir diegene wat deur borskanker geraak word, te finansier.

OFM en Round Table Southern Africa voeg pret by die fondsinsameling en sal die korporatiewe Bowling4Boobies-rolbalreeks regoor Sentraal-Suid-Afrika aanbied. Elke aand word kos, bederfies, pryse en vermaak beloof, met lewendige vermaak deur sanger Rudo Schwim.

Die reeks begin op 2 Oktober in Bloemfontein, gevolg deur Vereeniging op 9 Oktober, Welkom op 16 Oktober, Hartswater op 23 Oktober en Klerksdorp op 30 Oktober. Luisteraars kan hul span van vier inskryf vir slegs R2 000. Al die opbrengs gaan direk na KANSA.

Luisteraars kan verder help deur elke Donderdag in te skakel terwyl OFM se dagprogramme die kollig op stories van moed werp, lewensreddende inligting deel en oorlewendes se lewe vier. Hulle kan ook die Pink Pledge aflê.
