BLOEMFONTEIN – 6 MARCH 2009 – The 10 Second Challenge on OFM was won on Wednesday, 4 March 2009 in the Mambo Jumbo show with Rian. The lucky winner of R50 000 is Des Williams from Bloemfontein. Des received his cheque of R50 000 the next day from the OFM breakfast team, Pieter Möller & Christie Hansen.

The promotion has been on the air for just over two weeks and has generated an amazing amount of responses via SMS, E-mail, the OFM-website and on the phones. The last three days of the campaign the studio phones were ringing off the hook and have virtually burnt out, this is according to Tim Zunckel, Programme Manager of OFM. He added that the station had an amazing response in the last days of the competition with the on-line game getting more than 4 817 entries and over 2 000 SMS entries.
