Witbank. - Former SA Schools, SA Under and SA Under 21 flanker Martin Sithole, will make his run-on debut for the Pumas against the Leopards in an Absa Currie Cup First Division match in Potchefstroom on Saturday afternoon.

Sithole, who has represented the Pumas from under 13 to under 18 level and represented the Union at two Craven Weeks, furthered his studies in Potch and represented the Leopards at every age group level before returning to Witbank.

Pumas coach Jimmy Stonehouse, has surprisd by selecting Emerging Bok Rudi Vogt at fullback after omitting him for the Griffons game, and moving Jiffy Lamprecht to the wing once again. Lamprecht has played in a different position in every match in the First Division this season.

Stonehouse has shown faith in his midfield combination of Christiaan Els – another former Leopard – and Jovan Botha and halfbacks Tiaan Marx – also a former Leopard – and Jacques Coetzee. In the pack Sithole replaces an injured Francois van Wyk and hooker Ashton Constant comes in for Morné Kruger.

The Pumas trail the Leopards by four points on the log in a battle of the two leading teams in Potchefstroom.
