There will also be a change in the back-three for the game against the Scottish giants.

Franco Smith named his squad on Monday which will be heading to Scotland for the one-off game in the competition.

In the backrow, Gerhard Olivier, who has been outstanding for the side all season is being rested for the game, due to his heavy workload throughout the competition. His seat on the flight to the United Kingdom has been given to Daniel Maartens.

In the backline, Tian Meyer, should be starting at scrumhalf for the game, and he will also captain the side on Saturday. Shaun Venter is the most likely candidate to provide cover off the bench, however, the Springbok Rudy Paige will also be touring.

Malcolm Jaer has recovered from his injury as well, and it is a no-brainer that he will be running out at fullback for the Cheetahs, and this should me that Louis Fouché moves back to the bench.
