The South African-born Hanno Dirksen will be playing his 100th championship game for the Ospreys on Saturday when they run out against the Toyota Cheetahs in Bloemfontein in the Guinness Pro14.

It is somewhat fitting that the winger will be reaching this milestone in the City of Roses, as his father, Hansie Dirksen, is a former Free State and Springbok player.

His father represented the Free State in 53 matches, of which 27 were at centre, and 23 as flyhalf.

The eighthman, James King, in his turn will also be reaching a very milestone, as he will be making his 150th championship appearance.

Meanwhile, the coach, Allen Clarke, remains wary of the Cheetahs attacking ability and believes that their defence and attack will need to be clinical.

"With three games left it’s a simple equation for us. We know what the challenge is over the last three rounds of the regular season and our focus is on ourselves, and what we can control.

"The Cheetahs are a quality team and a formidable force at home. They are particularly dangerous in open field play with the ability to strike from deep.

"Having said that there’s a real buzz amongst the squad and a clear understanding of what we need to do to impose our game on the opposition.

We’ll have to be at our best defensively and, in attack, be accurate and clinical."

Saturday’s game at the Toyota Stadium will kick off at 17:30.
