With the Springboks having just started their rugby championship campaign, questions are being asked about the Springbok midfield.

Rassie Erasmus and his selection team currently sit with 3 options for thenumber 12 jersey. Last weekend’s victory against Australia saw AndreEsterhuizen don the 12 jersey with Frans Steyn coming off the bench to replacehim.

Frans Steyn has found himself return to the Springbok setup having been outof the system for two years. His return to the Boks was positive for him and hewas impressed by the step up in professionalism within the Springbokstructures.

Moving into the second week of the competition it is likely that Damien DeAllende will start at inside centre this weekend against New Zealand wit FransSteyn deputising for him off the bench.

As time moves closer to the IRB Rugby world cup, Rassie Erasmus will have tomake a decision on his inside centre and start planning some levels ofconsistency going into the tournament. The Boks will face New Zealand at 9h35on Saturday 27 July.

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has spoken out about game, saying that it'snot about revenge for the All Blacks.

The result of the game will do a lot towards the rugby world cup where TheSpringboks will be taking on New Zealand on the second day of the competition,on September 21 at 11H45.
