Mosehle contracted by Free State─── MORGAN PIEK 14:26 Wed, 07 Apr 2021
The Free State has secured the services of the former Proteas wicketkeeper and batsman, Mangaliso Mosehle, for the upcoming 2021/22 domestic cricket season.
The Free State has managed to secure the bulk of the Knights team as cricket in South Africa will be doing away with the franchise system.
Up until recently, Mosehle played for the Dolphins in the final of the CSA 4-Day Series when they beat the Titans to earn their second piece of silverware for the season.
Mosehle told OFM Sport that he wants to add value in Bloemfontein.
“The biggest thing about moving to the Free State is to build something that is good and a great structure there.
“To be able to help out a lot of the players there and to make sure that the team gets into a place where they can potentially be.
“That is my biggest dream.”
The most notable player absent from the Free State squad is the leg-spinner, Shaun von Berg, who is heading to Paarl in order to play for Boland.
The tall left-arm seamer, Duan Jansen, is also not included in the Free State squad.
Free State squad - Pite van Biljon, Jacques Snyman, Matthew Kleinveldt, Raynard van Tonder, Farhaan Behardien, Patrick Kruger, Patrick Botha, Wandile Makwetu, Mangaliso Mosehle, Gerald Coetzee, Migael Pretorius, Gregory Mahlokwana, Mbulelo Budaza, Alfred Mothoa, Nealan van Heerden, Dilivio Ridgaard.
