The Cheetahs will have a fresh look with 13 debutants for the team, while they will also want to set the record straight following their defeat to the Peacock Blues a fortnight ago in their warm-up game.

The Cheetahs captain, Ruan Pienaar, told OFM Sport that discipline remains a thorn in their side.

“The discipline has been a bit of an Achilles heel for us. It's something that we've definitely touched on.

“We've worked at it and tried to get better.

“They've got flyhalves and a fullback with a great kicking game and the same goes for their scrumhalf as well.

“We normally make a few negative impacts in the game, straight after each other and end up in our own half. Focus it's about rectifying that.”

Saturday afternoon’s derby at the Tafel Lager Park kicks off at 13:00.
