The experienced flyhalf, Nicolas Sanchez, has been demoted to the bench, with Domingo Miotti starting in the number ten jersey.

Miotti will be joined in the halfback combination by Gonzalo Bertrano, who in turn replaces Felipe Ezcurra at scrumhalf.

Last week the Boks beat the Pumas 32-12 and the Argentine coach, Mario Ledesma, said he doesn’t think the world champions will change anything.

“I think South Africa played against us like they played against the British & Irish Lions and like they played in the final of the World Cup.

“They have a very strong identity and I don't see how they are going to change anything from last week to this week.

“Everything they do is studied and everyone is committed to that game plan.

“Why change something that is working so good?”
