We know we still need to win - Everitt─── MORGAN PIEK 15:00 Thu, 07 Oct 2021
The Sharks will be targeting a first win tomorrow night when they face the Ospreys in the United Rugby Championship.
The Currie Cup finalists are yet to recorded a victory after two rounds in Europe, as is the case with the Bulls and Stormers.
Sean Everitt has made a few changes to his team with the most notable being that of Curwin Bosch that has been dropped.
The Sharks believes that the charges won’t weaken his team and with the amount of rugby they have played it was nessecary to rotate the players.
“We looked at the team as a whole, the games that we've played in and looked at the Currie Cup and we've played a lot of games towards the end of the Currie Cup.
“A lot of the changes are rotational while some of them are performance-based, so we thought of freshening up the group.
“It is a four-week tour and we've brought a few youngsters with us to give them experience, but we know we still need to win.”
The Ospreys and Sharks battle it out at 20:35 on Friday night at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea, while on Saturday at 20:35 the Cardiff Blues entertain the Bulls at Cardiff Arms Park.
