Since Masuku joined the Cheetahs earlier in the year he has exclusively played at inside centre, and his has done it with aplomb.

Masuku will marshal the backline for one of the two squads to face the Sables, while the regular pivot, Reinhardt Fortuin, will guide the other backline.

Masuku told OFM Sport it’s an opportunity to impress the coach, Hawies Fourie.

“The coach is right and it is a really great opportunity for me.

“I haven't been playing at flyhalf, so it is a good opportunity for me to measure myself on the things that I've been working on for the past couple of months.

“I will be really nice and great at the same time. On the other it will be tough, because they are a physical team.”
