They need all of our attention and focus - Kolisi─── MORGAN PIEK 16:17 Fri, 05 Nov 2021
The Springboks take to the field against Wales in Cardiff on Saturday for the first time in three years. On that day the Welsh beat the Springboks 20-11. The last time the Springboks won a Test in Cardiff was in 2013 when they beat Wales 24-15.
The last time these two teams met was two just over two years ago when the Springboks won 19-16 in the Rugby World Cup semi-finals in Yokohama.
The captain of the World Champions, Siya Kolisi, said while they will also be up against Scotland at Murrayfield and England at Twickenham in the next fortnight, the Dragons serve all of their attention and focus.
“It has been a year of ups-and-downs but we do take confidence from our last game.
“Having said that, this a different challenge that we will be coming up against.
“It's been six years since the last time we won here. We are really focused on just this one game against Wales because they need all of our attention and focus.
“We have lost here so many times in the past. But we are taking it game by game because we also really do want to gain momentum going forward as a team.”
Saturday evening’s Test at the Millennium Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
