The Cheetahs named a new look team for the game, while the visitors are fielding a team heavily laden with South Africans, which include several Free Staters.

Only five of the players named in the Diables squad for the match aren’t South African.

This match will also be the first Diables as a team and the excitement in mounting in the camp.

The Cheetahs coach, Hawies Fourie, told OFM Sport that their mission is to develop the sport and hopefully this will open the door for a return to international rugby.

“I think that where we will be now as the Cheetahs. To explore that route and that avenue.

“There are teams there that are really performing well.

“I was surprised with Portugal's performance against Japan on the weekend.

“They were we actually really interested to play in the Toyota Challenge.

“They contacted me, but it was a little late and we wouldn't have been able to get them to Bloemfontein in time after their Test against Japan.”

Kick-off at the Toyota Stadium is at 17:30.
