Cheetahs revert back to strongest team for the Sharks─── MORGAN PIEK 13:22 Thu, 18 Nov 2021
The Toyota Cheetahs have reverted back to their strongest possible team for Saturday’s Toyota Challenge clash against the Sharks in Bloemfontein.
The winger, Enver Brandt, who scored twice against Diables Barcelona on Wednesday night, earns a start at the expense of the injured Rosko Specman.
The loan player from the Sharks, Jeandré Labuschagne, also earns a start and will play on the flank.
A call will be made on the availability the Springbok, Oupa Mohoje, last as he is nursing a slight niggle.
The Cheetahs coach, Hawies Fourie, told OFM Sport that they have to improve last weeks performance against Western Province.
“The main work-ons for us was out setpiece. It didn't go well there in the game against Western Province.
“We lost quite a few lineouts and we got penalised on our own scrum. The forwards had a good work on that.
“Then our attack in the 22 wasn't great. We only two out of eight chances of the rucks or setpiece we had in their 22.”
Saturday’s game at the Toyota Stadium kicks off at 14:00.
