On Saturday the Sharks blew a 19-3 lead against the Stormers through numerous yellow cards and two penalties to ended up drawing the match 22-22 at Kings Park.

This week the Sharks will have an opportunity to set the record straight.

Sharks coach, Sean Everitt, said that there are several work-ons heading into the fixture.

“It comes down to discipline. You don't want to give away penalties and put yourself under the pump.

“We beat ourselves, although we didn't lose. We had an opportunity to win it and get four points - five if we had taken all our opportunities.

“At 22-15 was a crucial stage in the game where we lost a lineout, which led to Sbu Nkosi's yellow card. We could have closed the game out from that lineout.

“Unfortunately, we threw it over the top, gave them possession, got a yellow card and never got out of our 22.

“The plan we put together and pressure we put on their set-piece was everything we planned for throughout.

“We probably did everything right for 71 minutes and then threw it away at the end.”

The Stormers and Sharks will battle it out at 17:05 on Saturday at the DHL Stadium, while at 15:00 the Bulls host the Lions at Ellis Park.
