Bulls want to avoid catch-up rugby against Glasgow─── MORGAN PIEK 14:32 Thu, 28 Apr 2022
The Bulls will be targeting a strong and fast start on Friday night when they face the Glasgow Warriors at Loftus Versfeld in the United Rugby Championship.
Both teams will be targeting the playoffs and with just two rounds remaining before the knockout phase, everything is at stake.
Glasgow are currently 6th in the standings on 50 points while the Bulls are in 8th on 48 points.
Bulls coach, Jake White, warns that the Glaswegians cannot get off to a fast start.
“Glasgow are a good team and to be fair, one thing that we learnt from their game against Stormers is that they start really well and that is a trend of theirs.
“They've probably led most of their games at a certain point early on.
“I suppose the one standout thing we need to worried about it to make sure that we don't allow them to get a good start.
“Last week we allowed Benetton to get to 16-3 ahead and we had to work really hard to catch up in that game.”
Friday night’s game in Pretoria kicks off at 19:00. In the weekend's other games, the Lions face Benetton on Saturday, while the Sharks tackle Connacht and the Stormers at home to Leinster.
