The Toyota Cheetahs have no major injury concerns following their hard-fought 35-26 win over the Lions in the Currie Cup on the weekend.

The in-form and hard-working eighth-man, Mihlali Mosi, was stretchered off the field at Ellis Park during the second half of the encounter and there were fears that he sustained a concussion.

The Cheetahs coach, Hawies Fourie, feels that Mosi’s injury may not have been as serious as initially thought.

“Mihali Mosi was carried off the field, but it's not that serious. The doctor thought that it might be concussion.

“I spoke to him after the game in the change room and he said that the doesn't feel any ill effects and he is fine.

“Hopefully he will recover well. That was the only injury concern from our side.”

Mosi arrived at the Cheetahs team training on Monday morning and he took part in the session.

More good news is that the Springbok winger, Rosko Specman, also reported for training on Monday after he missed the game against the Lions. Specman got married over the weekend and he was in high spirits.

The Cheetahs will tackle the third placed Sharks on Saturday in Bloemfontein. Kick-off for the game at the Toyota Stadium is at 14:30.
