The All Blacks will look to return to winning ways when they travel to South Africa for two Tests against the Springboks in the Rugby Championship.

The All Blacks made coaching changes following their historic series defeat to Ireland. The three-times world champions have brought in the likes of Joe Schmidt, while the former Sharks coach, John Plumtree, as well as Brad Mooar, have been axed.

The All Blacks coach, Ian Foster, said they have to earn positive results in South Africa.

“We still have a strong belief in the direction that we were going,” said Foster of the rugby show, Break Down.

“Just because it didn't come together as quickly as we wanted it to and it's not the first time - it's not the first time that we've been slow-starters in July. I hate staying that, but it is the reality.

“We're a wounded All Black team, and we've got a job to do in South Africa, and play a game that New Zealanders will actually be proud of.”

The Springboks and All Blacks battle it out next Saturday at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit and a week later they will lock horns at Ellis Park in Johannesburg.
