The Springboks will look to take the positives from their defeat to the All Blacks in Johannesburg on Saturday.
The reigning World Champions were outclassed at Ellis Park with a 35-23 defeat during round two of the Rugby Championship.
The win was just the All Blacks' second in six Tests, while it was the Springboks' second defeat in their five Tests to date this year.
The Springbok coach, Jacques Nienaber, said in rugby the ball doesn’t always bounce your way.
“You don’t get in that position a lot, where you can beat them back-to-back and we are disappointed that we didn’t achieve our goal.
“In terms of the Rugby Championship, we still have four games left and we have now two games behind us and we will have to regroup and refocus on Australia.
“I was sitting in the coach’s box and thought that sometimes these games happen. We were over the line three times today and we got zero points. We created opportunities and sometimes it goes for you.”
The Springboks will now travel to Australia where they will tackle the Wallabies at the Adelaide Oval on 27 August.
