Marx ready for the Argentine scrum challenge─── MORGAN PIEK 08:17 Tue, 13 Sep 2022
The Springboks are ready and look forward to the battle at the scrum when they come up against Argentina in Buenos Aires on Saturday in the Rugby Championship.
With just one point separating all four teams in the championship and with two rounds to play, the Boks are expected to go for broke and field their strongest possible team.
The Argentines, just like the World Champions, always back themselves at the setpiece and this will provide for a thrilling contest.
The Springbok hooker, Malcolm Marx, told OFM Sport that they are geared for the scrum battle.
“We are definitely looking forward to it. The Argentines have always had a great scrum and I think that it is going to be a great challenge for us.
“We will focus ourselves and see where we can improve and get better from our past few games.
“We know that it is going to be a big challenge for us and luckily, we have got the week to prepare for it to the best of our abilities. “
The coach, Jacques Nienaber, will be naming his team for the crucial Test on Tuesday. Saturday’s Test at Estadio Jose Amalfitani kicks off at 21:10.
