The Springboks and Roses will be facing each other for the 44th time and current World Champions will be targeting a 27th win as they look to build momentum heading into next year's Rugby World Cup in France.

Following consecutive defeats against Ireland and France, Saturday's 63-21 win over Italy has boosted the confidence of the Springboks.

The Springbok hooker, Malcolm Marx, believes that they are on the right track ahead of the World Cup.

“We are very happy with the win,” said Marx.

“We obviously displayed what we can do. The last two weeks didn’t go our way, but the way the guys stood up this week was awesome.

We are happy that there were a few tries. The guys worked hard during the week and we tried to execute as well as possible.

“But we know there is room for improvement, and we will look at the areas we need to work on going into next week.”

Saturday’s Test between England and the Springboks at Twickenham kicks off at 19:30.
