The Pumas will be extra motivated when they face the World Champions this week following their recent win over the Wallabies in Sydney.

The Boks chose a team very similar to the one that beat the Wallabies 43-12 at Loftus Versfeld, but they know that the Argentines will be a different kettle of fish to deal with.

The former Cheetahs prop, Trevor Nyakane, said that the Pumas’ game has evolved in recent times.

“When it comes to Argentina, you know it is going to be a tough challenge,” said Nyakane.

“They’ve come a long way from just being an Argentina who just wants to be physical. They have a few moves now that keep you thinking.

“We all know that scrummaging is one aspect of their game that they really enjoy and if you are not aware they can put you under pressure. We definitely know they are no slouches and they are not going to go away.

“They are going to keep coming the whole day, no matter how much you dominate them. They don’t give up and they don’t go away. Even if you dominate them in the first hit in the scrum, they’ve got it, they will come back and bite you.”

Saturday’s Test at Ellis Park kicks off at 17:05.
