The Springboks are braced for a full-on battle when they face All Blacks in London on Friday night in a Test that will be both teams last “warm-up” game before the Rugby World Cup in France.

The All Blacks named a full-strength team for the Test in London which will be the 105th between the old foe.

The Boks themselves pick a very strong team and which could be close to what will be fielded against Scotland in Marseille next month in their opening game of the Rugby World Cup.

The last these two teams met at Twickenham was in the 2015 Rugby World Cup semi-finals with the All Blacks edging the Boks 20-18.

The Springbok captain, Siya Kolisi, said they are geared for what will be a physical Test.

“The fact that the All Blacks selected a full-strength side for the match shows their intent,” said Kolisi.

“This is not a friendly - in fact, we’ve never had a friendly against them. It’s going to a big physical battle, and we are excited about it.

“It’s also our last match before the Rugby World Cup, so we want to make the most of the occasion. Hopefully it will be an ugly, tough game, but beautiful at the same time.”
