The Bulls made three changes to their starting XV for Saturday's United Rugby Championship semi-final against Leinster in Pretoria.

The Springbok flanker, Marco van Staden, is fit again and will start on the side of the scrum with Nizaam Carr dropping to the bench.

In the backline, Devon Williams replaces the injured Kurt-Lee Arendse, while the former Cheetah, Sergeal Petersen starts on the left-wing at the expense of Sebastian de Klerk.

Cornel Smit has been named on the bench for the Bulls and should he take to the park he will be making his Bulls debut.

The Bulls coach, White, said it’s great to have Van Staden back and he is sure the blindside-flanker will  be looking to make a statement ahead of the Springbok versus Ireland Test in Pretoria in a fortnight.

“It is nice to have him back,” said White.

"He has the experience, has played at a World Cup and he wants to play. I am sure that he also wants to play in two weeks against the Ireland in Pretoria.”

Saturday’s semi-final at Loftus Versfeld kicks off at 16:00, while at 19:00 Munster will tackle the Glasgow Warriors in Limerick.
