Bafana Bafana had previously confirmed that they will face Ghana on June 15 in an international friendly as preparation for AFCON 2019 taking place in Egypt from June 21. 

Baxter confirmed a second game to be played as preparation for the tournament, a match that Bafana Bafana will play against Angola, which will be played on June 19 in Egypt. 

"We’re going to play Ghana on the 15th, and we’re going to play Angola in Egypt on the 19th. That’s the one that we can get, so I’m taking it.

“We need more than two games really, but that’s what we can get,” Baxter told media on Wednesday in Johannesburg where the team are based and are training."

Baxter is expected to make final squad announcements by June 11, before the team travel to Egypt where they will face Ghana and Angola in warm up matches, with their AFCON campaign starting on June 24 against Ivory Coast at 16h30.
