The Bafana Bafana captain, Dean Furman, has indicated that he will be leaving his current club, SuperSport United, at the conclusion of the 2019/20 Premier Soccer League season.

As it stands Furman has not penned a deal with any clubs yet, however, in an interview he has expressed his interest in returning to the United Kingdom.

He has South African and English dual citizenship.

Furman has been linked with a move to the defending PSL champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, but indicated he wants to head back to Europe.

The 31-year-old midfielder began his youth career at Chelsea in London and at the Scottish giants, Rangers in Glasgow.

During his senior career, he played mainly for Oldham Athletic, Doncaster Rovers, Bradford City and SuperSport.

The Cape Town-born player said that until the time comes for his departure his sole focus will be on SuperSport United.

"There's no one, in particular, I'm speaking to at the moment. My focus is here at SuperSport until the end of the season," he added.

"We're in a good position in the league. We just took an MTN8, we sitting nicely in the league.

"So whatever happens for me next season my focus is purely at SuperSport until the end of the season."

Furman has represented Bafana Bafana on more than 50 occasions.
