In the North West of England, Everton and Southampton shared points at Goodison Park with a 1-1 draw.

Tottenham Hotspur was held to a goalless draw by relegation bound Bournemouth, while Manchester United reduced the gap on the top four to within one point after they beat Aston Villa, 3-0.

United are the first side in Premier League history to win four consecutive games by a margin of 3+ goals, with the last team to do so in the English top-flight being Liverpool in October 1987.

The victory also means that United are unbeaten in their past 21 Premier League away games against Aston Villa, and this is the longest unbeaten away run one team has had against another in English top-flight history.

A full round of fixtures can be expected this weekend.

Saturday’s big match feature will see Chelsea travel to in-form and dangerous Sheffield United.

A win for the hosts will see them close in on the top four, while a win for the Blues will see them open the gap on 4th placed Leicester City.

That game kicks off at 18:30 on Saturday night.

While on Sunday, London will host another derby when Arsenal make the trip to a temperamental Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby.

That match will be kicking off at 17:30 on Sunday evening.
