South Africa heads into the game at Stade Omar Hamadi, holding a 2-0 lead after winning the first leg at the Orlando Stadium last week.

A positive result will see Banyana qualify for the AFCON in Morocco, which will also serve as a FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Coach, Desiree Ellis, said the first goal this evening will be the most important of the tie.

“We have to make sure that that goal is our goal. We also have to control the tempo of the game.

“We have to up it and slow it down when we want to. We have to almost make them play at our tempo.

“If we can do that, we will be in complete control of the match.

“I always say that if we don't concede we are going to create. This time we are going to have to be a little bit more clinical in front of goal when we get the opportunities.”

Kick-off in Algiers on Wednesday evening is at 18:00.
