At 19:30, the bottom-of-the-log Cape Town City will target a first win of the season when they come up against Kaizer Chiefs at the Cape Town Stadium.

Last year's runners-up have been able to earn a win while they have drawn twice and lost three times.

At the same time over at the Dobsonville Stadium, Swallows will be in action against Sekhukhune United.

The Citizens coach, Eric Tinkler, said they are desperate to earn their first win of the campaign.

“A win is what we need. A win is what we desperately need and as much as people are saying, ‘You haven’t won’, it’s still early in the league.

“Go look at the league table, go see what happens if we win two in a row, everything changes.

“It’s small margins right now, so I’m not panicking. I’m not going to put my players into panic. We go to the Chiefs game looking to get positive results, which is a win, and that’s what we need right now, a win,”

On Wednesday night six games will be played as the league wraps up until next weekend. These games will include Mamelodi Sundowns facing Stellenbosch, AmaZulu at home Golden Arrows and Orlando Pirates in action Marumo Gallants.

This weekend the last season's top-8 teams will battle it out in the quarter-finals of the MTN8.
