Broos to field all players against Sierra Leone and Botswana─── MORGAN PIEK 14:21 Wed, 21 Sep 2022
The national football coach, Hugo Broos, has indicated that he wants to give all 23 players in his squad game-time against Sierra Leone and Botswana.
Bafana Bafana will be playing in two international friendlies over the next six days as they look towards their next round of Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
On Saturday South Africa will face Sierra Leone, while next week Tuesday they will take on Botswana.
Broos said the aim is to give all his players time on the park.
“These two friendly games are very important,” said the 70-year-old Belgian coach.
“I will try to give all of the players time to play. I will try to have a team against Sierra Leone, and I will try to have another team against Botswana.
“It's is so that every player has the opportunity to himself. It's important for the players to have the same minutes on the field in those two international friendlies.”
