AB raises his hand once again─── MORGAN PIEK 09:43 Wed, 28 Apr 2021
The former Proteas captain, AB de Villiers, has strengthened his case for a return to the national side for the T20 World Cup in India later this year.
Mr 360 was in sublime form again last night by smashing 75 unbeaten runs as the Royal Challengers Bangalore beat the Delhi Capitals by just a single run.
De Villiers speaks about which of the five sixes he hit, he enjoyed the most.
It was certainly one of them. I was asked this question after I got off after I batted. Nothing against KG (Kagiso Rabada), I love him to bits, but the one I hit over mid-wicket. I don't get him away often, but when I do get him away it is something I remember.
He is such a world-class bowler, but the one over mid-wicket was my best one, and I enjoyed it the most.
De Villiers' knock saw him become just the sixth batsman to pass 5000 in the IPL, and he is just the second foreigner to achieve the feat.
