Harris to target his first quarters for 2022─── MORGAN PIEK 14:49 Tue, 29 Mar 2022
Lloyd Harris - Jason O'Brien
Lloyd Harris will be targeting his first quarter-finals of the year when he faces Poland's Hubert Hurkacz on Tuesday evening at the Miami Open in Florida.
The 25-year-old South African will have his work cut out for him at the ATP hard court event and his opponent is the defending champion and ranked 10th in the world.
Harris will take confidence out of that fact that in their only previous meeting he beat Hurkacz 6-4 and 7-6 on clay back in 2017.
The winner of Tuesday evening's match will face the winner between Daniil Medvedev and Jenson Brooksby in the quarter-finals.
Play in the Magic City is scheduled to get underway no sooner than 21:00.
