Lloyd Harris is into the semi-finals of the Mallorca Open being played in Spain, while he will also be playing in the final of the doubles.
Harris won his singles quarter-final against Pavel Kotov of Russia in straight-sets in the Wimbledon warm-up event and this continues his good momentum heading into the grass court Grand Slam.
Harris served 11 aces in the match as he won the game 7-5 and 6-2 to cruise into the semi-finals.
The 26-year-old South African will face the American Christopher Eubanks on Friday afternoon in the semi-finals. This semi is scheduled to get underway at 15:30.
Meanwhile, Harris and his doubles partner Yuki Bhambri are through to the final of the doubles.
The pair beat the top seeds, Santiago Gonzalez of Mexico, and Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France, 6-4 and 7-6 to reach the final.
Harris and Bhambri will have to wait until Friday to find out who they will be up against. The winner of the second semi-final between Robin Hasse of the Netherland and Philipp Oswald of Austria and the American duo of Nathaniel Lammons and Jackson Withrow, will take on Harris and Bhambri in Saturday’s final.
