South Africa’s Lloyd Harris was knocked out during the second round of the Oeiras Open being played in Portugal.

Harris was beaten in straight-sets yesterday by Elias Ymer of Sweden during the round of 16 tie at the clay-court event.

Ymer secured a reasonably comfortable 7-5 and 6-3 win against Harris to hand the South African his first defeat in 12 games.

Harris will now turn his attention to the qualifying tournament of the French Open in order to book his spot in the draw at Roland Garros.
