A 13-year-old learner from Wilgehof Primary in Bloemfontein was stunned when one of his artworks sold for almost R10 000. Now he is painting his way to a bright future. Listen to the full interview here:
At first Siyabonga did not enjoy art because he didn't think he was any good, until his Grade 3 teacher noticed his talent and ability to draw. She then made sure that this talent was nurtured, and soon Siyabonga's talent was on everyone's lips.

Siyabonga mentioned that he would like to further his talent at St Andrew's School in Bloemfontein. This message reached the Headmaster of St Andrew's, and through the help of the community, Siyabonga received a bursary and will be joining Saints in 2023 as a Grade 8 learner.
