Nashua has proudly partnered with Engo for the past seven years. Over the past six years, Nashua Bloemfontein has contributed more than R2,4 million through various initiatives—a truly meaningful impact.
These funds have enabled Engo to support more than 200 000 vulnerable children, elderly individuals, people with disabilities, hospital patients, and families in need across the Free State each year. Over the past year, Nashua’s contributions have made a difference in the following ways:
- Providing solar and water solutions to children’s homes and aged care centres
- Offering counselling and therapy to children facing emotional challenges
- Supporting young achievers in sport and culture at provincial and national level
- Upgrading children’s homes and playgrounds to create safe, nurturing environments
- Supplying new beds, bedding, and mattresses
- Distributing food parcels and Christmas gifts to those in need
- Providing school bags, stationery, and scientific calculators
- Supporting our care leavers programme and camp, preparing more than 40 children for life beyond children’s homes
- Facilitating barista training for seven additional learners to help them build sustainable income opportunities
