The SAVF Rethabile Klerksdorp CYCC is dependent on donations from the community, businesses, and companies to ensure effective service delivery to 150 children in need of care and protection, residing in the CYCC. The Children’s Home is a 24-hour residential care facility that renders primary care, therapeutic services, and development programmes to 150 children from the entire North West Province. The children have been found in need of care, in terms of the Children’s Act 38 of 2008. Through intensive physical, social, and psychological services, the quality of life of the children is improved. We have 8 Houses on our premises with 15 – 20 children in each house and a House parent who looks after the children. We are planning a FUN Run, on the 30 August 2023, with the aim of raising funds. Fundraising is important to supplement our funds in order to provide for both the primary and secondary needs of our children.
