WILDEKLAWER PRIMARY SCHOOLS CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2026 Get ready for an exciting celebration of primary school cricket as the Wildeklawer Primary Schools Cricket Tournament returns to the Northern Cape for its second year! Hosted by Staats Primary School in Kimberley, the 2026 tournament has grown significantly, featuring 33 teams and more than 400 young cricketers from schools and hubs across the region. The tournament includes three competitive divisions: Boys’ Cup, Boys’ Shield and Girls’ Cup, giving young players the opportunity to compete, develop their skills and represent their schools with pride. The tournament runs from 10 September to 7 November 2026, with schools travelling from across the region to compete. Special fixture weekends have also been introduced to make travelling easier, including the Girls’ Weekends on 16-17 October and 30-31 October 2026 , followed by a Boys' Weekend on 23-24 October 2026. With Wildeklawer once again proudly supporting the tournament as the main sponsor, the event promises exciting cricket, strong competition and plenty of school spirit.
