#8 New Beginning - Solo Exhibition
With these paintings and sketches, the artist Marelie Van Rensburg, explores the heritage of faith that is handed down to us by our mothers, as strong South African woman. When circumstances are dire, woman of faith, pray, they rally, they make plans to provide for their families as the Proverbs 31 woman does. A woman of faith is confident because she understands the divine plan of our Heavenly Father and her role to bless lives and has faith over fear. She is confident that any sacrifice she makes is worth something in an eternal sense. She knows about sacrifice from knowing of the life of the Saviour and that there is a new beginning after this pandemic.
