Bloemfontein - Quewin Coetzee, the murder accused who escaped from custody last month, reappeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court this morning where the case was postponed until 29 May.
Coetzee is accused of murdering his pregnant girlfriend, Celeste Fraser-Carson, last year.
His trial was due to start next month, but he managed to escape from the Grootvlei Prison last month. He was re-arrested in Thembisa on Friday.
Court officials say he won't be allowed to apply for bail because of the seriousness of the charges that he's facing.
