ANC set to act on corrective measures post #ElectionResults - Magashule | News Article

ANC Secretary-General, Ace Magashule, says issues relating to high youth unemployment and service delivery in the country are amongst some of the pressing issues that will need to be attended to once the results of the elections have been released.

Speaking to OFM News as the country eagerly awaits the outcome of the elections, Magashule has reiterated that the party is serious about self-corrective measures and efforts to deal with corruption and other factors that have tainted the reputation of the party.

He said they are confident that they will emerge victoriously and will soon ensure that there is job creation and that other needs of the public are met.

Magashule says they have noted one of the reasons young people might have voted for opposition parties is due to growing concerns over lack of economic development and employment opportunities.

"Moving onwards, we are planning to improve the lives of all South Africans, we are now not planning to govern for 5 years but for the next 25 years."

He highlighted that it is critical that the ANC empowers the youth and that this calls for opportunities to be created for them to partake and also take lead in government structures.
