The case against Pontsho Mohlanka, who stands accused of killing several minors in Orange Farm in the Vaal, has been postponed to 7 December by the Vereeniging Magistrate's Court on Monday.

Magistrate Kris Kruger says this is to allow for further investigation into the matter. Mohlanka will remain in custody at the Johannesburg women’s prison.

The 29-year-old Mohlanka is accused of allegedly killing 8-year-old Mpho Makondo and 6-year-old Simpiwe Mgcina in September.

Earlier this year OFM News reported that the body of another minor was discovered hidden in the refrigerator at a local tavern owned by the accused.

Morginah Malatjie, the grandmother of 8-year-old Makondo, told reporters outside the court that she and her family are still not coping following their loss.

She, however, remains optimistic that justice will prevail.

Meanwhile, Jabulani Mncina, the uncle of 6-year-old Mgcina, is unhappy that this matter now being politicised by different political parties who were singing outside the court.
